Fixing Techniques:-
Brick or stone wall: Each tile is predrilled and supplied with screws, wallplugs and screw coverings that just clip on the top. A drill of some kind is required along with the appropriate masonary drill bit (not supplied).
Wood: Just screw directly to a fence panel, rail or post; wallplugs not required. Little screw covers just tidy up the fixing.
Any surface: Glue to a wall with contact adhesive (not supplied). Apply contact adhesive (ie, Evostik) to the back of the tile and place against wall momentarily to leave some glue behind and give you a pattern to follow. Use this as a marker to add more glue to the wall and back of the tile. You DO NOT need to go right to the edge of the tile with the glue. This way it is all hidden behind the fixing. Any glue that does ooze out of the side (if any), leave to dry and cut away with a sharp knife when hard.
Allow to go tacky. Apply tile to wall, ensure it is lined up correctly and not wonky, press gently to engage the contact adhesive. Leave to dry. I do recommend leaning a lump of wood at an angle against the tile to keep the pressure on, perhaps overnight, until the glue is gone off, to ensure a very good bond.
Maintenance: Once fitted securely, your tile will last for many, many years without needing any kind of maintenance, except perhaps the odd wipe over with a damp cloth to clean it.
Thank You: Thank you for your order, I do hope you like your item, perhaps also enough to mention it to others. Kind regards, phil
